Beyond the Calculator

A calculator gives you an estimate. It doesn’t file your return, register your NTN, or catch the deductions and exemptions specific to your situation. That’s where our team comes in. Once you’ve used the Income Tax Calculator 2026 to get a sense of where you stand, our tax consultants can help you file accurately, claim what you’re entitled to, and stay compliant with FBR without the back-and-forth.

Whether you’re a first-time filer or you’ve been filing for years, pairing a reliable Income Tax Calculator 2026 with proper professional filing keeps you off FBR’s radar for the wrong reasons and on the Active Taxpayer List for the right ones.

Try the calculator, see where you stand, and reach out if you’d like help with the actual filing.

What Changed This Year

The government revised the slab structure for FY 2026-27, and the changes actually help most salaried people. The 23% bracket dropped to 20%, the 30% bracket dropped to 25%, and the old 35% band that used to start at Rs. 4.1 million now only kicks in above Rs. 7 million. The 9% surcharge that used to apply above Rs. 10 million in annual income has also been removed for salaried individuals.

The tax-free threshold hasn’t moved. If your annual income is Rs. 600,000 or below, you still pay zero tax.

Here’s the current slab breakdown:

  • Up to Rs. 600,000 — 0%
  • Rs. 600,000 to 1,200,000 — 1% of the amount above 600,000
  • Rs. 1,200,000 to 2,200,000 — Rs. 6,000 + 11%
  • Rs. 2,200,000 to 3,200,000 — Rs. 116,000 + 20%
  • Rs. 3,200,000 to 4,100,000 — Rs. 316,000 + 25%
  • Rs. 4,100,000 to 5,600,000 — Rs. 541,000 + 29%
  • Rs. 5,600,000 to 7,000,000 — Rs. 976,000 + 32%
  • Above Rs. 7,000,000 — Rs. 1,424,000 + 35%
